This assignment will combine all that you have learned THUS far in the course. You will have the choice of one of the projects below. No matter which project you choose you MUST include the list of MANDATORY film elements listed at the end of this page.
School Promo Video
Create a 5 minute promo video for Denis Morris Catholic High School that would be delivered or used to recruit all types of students from the feeder schools in our area. Highlight the best parts of DM, the history, the academics, events and athletics that DM offers.
How-To Video
Are you and expert at some skill? Maybe you're just pretty darned good at something....Well here is your chance to make a YouTube quality HOW-TO video of some special skill you have. Baking? Show your audience a tasty recipe! Athlete extraordinaire? Give the audience a list of tips on how to reach peak performance.
Stop Motion or Kinetic Film
Stop motion uses images instead of video. Using creativity and LOTS of photos, create a 2-3 minute video of something simple. The process has you repeating images over and over in succession.

The Interview
Film an 7-10 minute interview with an interesting individual that might be interesting to your friends and family. The interview should have a series of questions, some background info on the person and a face-to-face interview. See of "Between Two Ferns" for a sample of a comedic take on the interview.
Mandatory Elements
For this project you are required to have the following elements for evaluation and assessment purposes:
